Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lappari Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olrax Recto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lappari Karhu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Olrax Recto!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhu avoids the head kick by Recto.

Karhu clinches up with Recto and pushes him back against the cage.
Recto wants to break the clinch but can't.

Karhu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Recto uses from the top position.

Karhu pushes Recto off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Recto shoots in looking for a takedown but Karhu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Recto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A head kick misses from Recto.

Karhu rushes Recto and presses him up against the cage.
Recto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Karhu is defending well for now.

Karhu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Karhu has control of Recto's left arm, preventing Recto from doing any damage.
Recto scoring with some ground and pound.
Recto is looking to stand up but Karhu won't let him.

Recto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Karhu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Recto has managed to get both his arms back between Karhu's legs - danger averted.
Recto tries to free his leg and advance position but Karhu is retaining full guard.

Karhu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Karhu is pulling down on Recto's head to control his posture.
Recto tries to stand but Karhu is controlling from the bottom.

Recto is looking to work some ground and pound but Karhu has wrist control.
Karhu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Karhu is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Recto is surviving well by controlling Karhu's body position as best he can.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Recto is trying to escape the mount.
Recto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Karhu trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Karhu tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Karhu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Recto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lappari Karhu dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Karhu looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Recto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Karhu tries for a takedown but Recto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Recto closes the distance but Karhu moves to the side
and Karhu counters with a left and a right that stings Recto.

Karhu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Recto tries to reverse the position but Karhu maintains control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Recto wants to hold on but Karhu pushes him away.

Recto trying desperately to get to his feet.
Karhu fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Karhu is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Recto is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Recto flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Karhu anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Recto and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Karhu slips an arm under Recto chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Karhu has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Karhu is squeezing on Recto like an anaconda would it's prey. Recto fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
