Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson scores with a nice right hand.
Robertson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Robertson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Robertson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it.
Robertson thows a body shot but no joy.
Robertson looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robertson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robertson moves away.

Robertson throws a nice looking combination but Lee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Robertson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee rushes Robertson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Robertson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Robertson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards.

Robertson is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Robertson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Robertson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robertson has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

Lee manages to work his way to half guard, despite Robertson's best efforts.
Eric Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lee wants to control but Robertson is keeping busy.
Lee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Robertson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Robertson's back!
Robertson tries to break free.
Even with his hooks in, Lee manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Robertson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lee's arms.

Lee patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Will Lee go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Robertson trying to control the hands but Lee won't let him.
Brian Robertson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Robertson is having to fend off submission attempts from Lee, who is looking to sink in the choke. Lee doesn't have the hooks in though and Robertson manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robertson wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Lee looking for subs off his back but Robertson has passed one foot through into half guard.
Robertson controlling the action here.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Lee.
I think Robertson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
