And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alessio Legionarius!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legionarius walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kharghai.
Kharghai lands a jab to the nose.
Kharghai throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A head kick misses from Legionarius.
Kharghai moves out of range of the leg kick from Legionarius.
Kharghai doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Legionarius counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kharghai lands with a kick to the temple. Legionarius shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Legionarius misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kharghai.
Kharghai checks a leg kick nicely.
Legionarius throws a half hearted mid kick.
Legionarius fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kharghai checks it well.
Kharghai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kharghai fakes the leg kick and cracks Legionarius in the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kharghai moves out of range of the body kick.
Legionarius takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Legionarius shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kharghai defends it nicely.
Kharghai thows a body shot but no joy.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Legionarius.

Kharghai closes the distance and pushes Legionarius back into the cage.
Kharghai stalling in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Legionarius.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kharghai takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Legionarius tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kharghai throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Legionarius blocks it with crossed arms.
Legionarius is looking for a takedown.
Vadim Kharghai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alessio Legionarius.
Legionarius misses with a punch on the inside.
Legionarius lands a nice uppercut.

Kharghai jumps guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Legionarius wants to pass the guard but Kharghai is keeping the position.
Legionarius won't allow Kharghai to sweep him here.

Legionarius throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kharghai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kharghai has his feet on Legionarius's thighs here. He's pushed Legionarius off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Legionarius screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
