PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kennedy Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels comes to the ring accompanied by Folsom Prison Blues cover by Everlast. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Michaels feints and then cracks Pedersen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pedersen down.
Good leg kick by Michaels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pedersen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Michaels - the referee stops the clock and Pedersen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Michaels. Pedersen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Michaels has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Pedersen to the canvas! Can Pedersen beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Pedersen was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Michaels is your winner!
