Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Rodwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodwell's entrance music is Pitbull - I know you want me. A fine choice. Diego Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodwell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rodwell loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch.
Sloppy strikes from Rodwell. Those never looked like landing.
A slow jab from Rodwell misses its intended target.
Rodwell throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Diaz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rodwell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Diaz.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodwell is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Rodwell circles away and we're back to standing.
