Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ieuan Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Sykes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ieuan Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Bill Sykes!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sykes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sykes is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Williams has managed to free his arm - good work.
Still in half guard, Sykes seems content to control.

Sykes wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Williams wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ieuan Williams just wasn't active enough.

Sykes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sykes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sykes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Williams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sykes on his heels. He'll look to pass Sykes's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sykes is trying to escape the mount.
Williams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Sykes is trying desperately to improve position.

Sykes holds on for dear life, controlling Williams's posture momentarily.

Sykes is looking to improve his position but Williams isn't that keen on the idea.

Sykes tries to lock up and control but Williams gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sykes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Williams throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ieuan Williams dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Williams moves into range and clinches up with Sykes.
Sykes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sykes closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Sykes pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Sykes on that attempt.
Ieuan Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Sykes.

Williams wants to get back to his feet but Sykes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Williams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sykes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Williams is in Sykes's guard.

Sykes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Williams is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sykes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Williams.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ieuan Williams.
I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
