PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Gallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Bastos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastos has chosen Victory as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 8 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boy Bastos!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastos misses with a head kick.
Gallo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bastos avoids it really well and circles away.

Gallo jumps guard but Bastos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Gallo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bastos did well to prevent Gallo getting side control.
Gallo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gallo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gallo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bastos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well Bastos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
