The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ching decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Madmen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ching is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Madmen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ching's back instead.

Ching is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Madmen off. It looks like it's working - Madmen slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Ching displaying calm under pressure there.
