Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby TupperII!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 28 - 0, fighting out of London, Brij Khali!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khali misses with a right hand

and TupperII counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Khali is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst TupperII is controlling him.
Khali can't keep his opponent in guard - TupperII advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
TupperII thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
TupperII looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Khali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
TupperII not landing any meaningful shots this time.

TupperII seems to be looking for submissions.
TupperII trying to control from half guard but Khali is working away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

TupperII is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Khali sees it coming and defends easily.
TupperII not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Khali pushes TupperII off and gets back to his feet.
Khali throws a lazy uppercut

and TupperII counters by clinching up.
Khali wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

TupperII turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and TupperII manages to end up in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
TupperII scores with a couple of short elbows.
Khali pushes TupperII away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, TupperII gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Khali wants to get back to his feet.
Khali wants to get back to his feet but TupperII is dominant here and he's now got Khali's back!
Khali grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Khali covers up after that shot from TupperII.

TupperII is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Khali is defending well though. TupperII let's go of the attempt for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

TupperII is persistently looking for the submission but Khali is defending it well.
Khali is keeping busy.

TupperII lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
TupperII scores with punches to the body.
Khali is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
TupperII has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Khali controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Khali is trying to stand back up.
Khali looks gassed!

TupperII has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Khali is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards TupperII.
TupperII really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Khali.
