Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anton Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Widaca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walter takes the fight into the clinch.
Widaca is pressed up against the cage. Walter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Widaca down to the mat. Widaca avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Walter blocks a jab.
Widaca's corner calls for a 1-2. Widaca obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Walter darts in and clinches Widaca up against the cage.

Walter turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Walter manages to end up in side control.

Walter is stalling here. Widaca is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Walter seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Widaca has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Walter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Widaca clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
I really don't envy Widaca right now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anton Walter will probably get the nod.

Walter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Widaca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Walter quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Widaca has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Walter celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
