Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuki Noshikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuki Noshikawa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Noshikawa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
Noshikawa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!
Gracie is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Noshikawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gracie regains half guard.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Noshikawa pulls his head out easily.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Noshikawa has control of the leg.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gracie is working hard here to advance position.
Noshikawa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Noshikawa wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Aaron Gracie has been cut.
Noshikawa looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Noshikawa throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Noshikawa is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Noshikawa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gracie moves into full mount! Noshikawa won't be happy about that!

Noshikawa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Noshikawa has worked his arm free - good work by Noshikawa!

Gracie is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Noshikawa looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gracie gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Noshikawa is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gracie lets go of the hold and Noshikawa can pop his arm back in it's socket.
