Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bo Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Ctvrtlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Ctvrtlik will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ctvrtlik shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ctvrtlik darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

Ctvrtlik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Ctvrtlik has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ctvrtlik jumps guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bo Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Ctvrtlik.
Ctvrtlik goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jackson prevents it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ctvrtlik changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jackson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ctvrtlik looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.
Ctvrtlik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Ctvrtlik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ctvrtlik shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.

Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ctvrtlik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Ctvrtlik in a clinch.

Ctvrtlik can't get the takedown.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ctvrtlik lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jackson is trying to stand up here but Ctvrtlik is controlling him well.

A lull in the action here.

Ctvrtlik working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jackson is doing well to defend. Ctvrtlik seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jackson is forced to tap and this one is over!
