Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gordon Knot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dustin Graves!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves misses with a shot to the body
and Knot holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Knot lands an elbow inside that Graves shrugs off.
It looks like Dustin Graves has been cut.
Knot stalling.
Come on Graves - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Graves throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Knot blocks it with crossed arms.
Knot lands an elbow inside.
Graves dodges an elbow strike from Knot.
Knot jumps guard but Graves turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Graves misses with a punch to the body.
Knot breaks the clinch.
Knot works over Graves's head and body with a nice combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice takedown defense from Graves. No joy for Knot on that attempt.
Knot goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Graves fails in his attempt to clinch.
A head kick misses from Knot.
Graves tries to close the distance and clinch but Knot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Graves moves into the clinch successfully.
Knot lands an elbow inside that Graves shrugs off.
Knot tries to land a knee to the head but Graves blocks with his arms.
Graves blocks an elbow strike.
Knot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knot throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Knot lands a high kick!
Graves is rocked!
Knot lands with a big right hook that stumbles Graves - he's out on his feet here! Knot follows up with another monster hook that separates Graves from consciousness! Graves falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Knot stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gordon Knot!
Gordon Knot really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Beast Body logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
