Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshida Satoru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billiam Ridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridges doesn't manage to clinch there - Satoru circles away.
Ridges throws out a loose jab but Satoru uses good head movement to avoid it.
Satoru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Satoru slips a jab from Ridges.
Ridges throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Satoru.
Satoru takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Satoru closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ridges to the mat! Ridges manages to get full guard.

Satoru is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ridges defends it well.
Ridges is trying to stand up here but Satoru is controlling him well.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ridges darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That was a close round but I would say that Yoshida Satoru will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ridges lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Satoru backs up against the ropes.
Ridges is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A choreographed right hand from Ridges misses the target.
Billiam Ridges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ridges swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ridges wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ridges looks to land a right hand but Satoru moved out of range.
Satoru throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Satoru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ridges throws out the jab.
Ridges lands a really nice looking cross but Satoru seems unphased.

Ridges prevents Satoru from improving position.
Ridges throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Ridges is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Satoru is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ridges doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Satoru.

Satoru is cranking Ridges's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Ridges! He's tightened the choke and Ridges is tapping out!
