PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Kuyrpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veeti Pelto Pekka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kuyrpa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Armi & Danny - I Want To Love You Tender. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuyrpa closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Veeti Pelto Pekka has been cut.
Kuyrpa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kuyrpa moves forwards but Pelto Pekka connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Pelto Pekka drives through and clinches with Kuyrpa against the cage.

Pelto Pekka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pelto Pekka lands with an uppercut that bounces Kuyrpa off the cage and back into range.

Pelto Pekka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuyrpa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kuyrpa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kuyrpa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kuyrpa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pelto Pekka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pelto Pekka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
