Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rabbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabbon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Rabbon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rabbon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Miller somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Miller tries to sprawl but Rabbon drives through with a takedown into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rabbon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Well, if Rabbon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Miller manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Rabbon is looking to clinch.

Rabbon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Miller to the ground. Rabbon is now in Miller's guard.

Miller kicks Rabbon off and gets to his feet.

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller stops Rabbon from standing up.

Miller drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rabbon dives on top into guard.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Rabbon tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard.

Rabbon prevents Miller from getting back to his feet.

Rabbon drops back looking for a leg! Miller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miller manages to kick Rabbon off! Rabbon jumps back into Miller's guard.

Miller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rabbon tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Miller decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rabbon's guard.
Jason Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rabbon.

Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rabbon's head.
Miller throws a strike but Rabbon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rabbon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Miller pushes Rabbon off and gets back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller lands with an uppercut that bounces Rabbon off the cage and back into range.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rabbon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Miller throws a looping overhand right but Rabbon ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rabbon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Miller.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Miller lands a nice short elbow.
Rabbon gets full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rabbon is keeping the position for now.
Miller won't allow Rabbon to sweep him here.

Miller drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Miller seems to have locked his on tight now - Rabbon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Miller, as he picks up the win!
