Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxlund throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boxlund was well out of range. Poor timing from Griffin.
Boxlund feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Griffins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boxlund looks to land a left hand but Griffin moved out of range nicely.
Boxlund steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Griffin.
Boxlund blocks a low kick nicely.
Griffin drops his hands momentarily and Boxlund takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boxlund throws a right hand that Griffin ducks under and follows up with a left that Griffin also avoids with ease.
Griffin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Boxlund digs a good hook to Griffin's body.
A jab from Griffin finds it's way through Boxlund's defenses.
Griffin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Boxlund counters with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Griffin misses with a leg kick
and Boxlund counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boxlund lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Boxlund lands a big head kick that sends Griffin tumbling to the mat! Boxlund takes a step backwards and waves Griffin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Griffin is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boxlund drops Griffin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Griffin! Boxlund dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blixt Boxlund!
