Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is system of a down - violent pornography. Hardon has chosen Ameno as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardon looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.

and Hardon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Hardon works over Silva with some ground and pound from guard.

Hardon throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.

Hardon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardon scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Big Hardon has been cut.
Hardon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.

Hardon throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hardon.
Hardon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hardon on the side of the head.

Hardon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

Big Hardon has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hardon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hardon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
