Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nickolas Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mishima comes to the ring accompanied by Super Troopers German Techno. Shinya Mishima has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishima gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bryant to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bryant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mishima does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mishima shoots in for a double leg but Bryant sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bryant feints and then cracks Mishima's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mishima down.
Mishima shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bryant as he jumps to the side.
Mishima stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bryant.

Bryant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mishima manages to avoid it.

and Bryant counters with a nice uppercut.

Bryant misses with a hook. Mishima ducked under it nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mishima.
Bryant shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mishima is trying to defend but Bryant finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Nickolas Bryant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bryant fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mishima has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mishima looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mishima shoots in and drives through. Bryant sprawls well.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mishima. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Bryant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mishima has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bryant is working away from the top position though.

Nickolas Bryant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bryant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
