The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bazinet throws a hook but Richard blocks it.
Bazinet listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bazinet lands with a shot to the body.
Bazinet rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Richard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bazinet connects with the punch.
No joy there for Bazinet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Richard closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bazinet's guard.
Richard is in close to Bazinet's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Richard lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Richard drops back looking for a leg! Bazinet is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bazinet manages to kick Richard off! Richard jumps back into Bazinet's guard.
Bazinet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Richard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bazinet dives on top into guard.

Bazinet is posturing up here but Richard has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bazinet tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bazinet has to tap! Slick submission there by Richard!

Curtis Richard decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
