Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyson Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Lawrence !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence cracks Austin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lawrence lands with an overhand left.
Lawrence waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Austin.
Austin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Austin dives in and scores a takedown into Lawrence 's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Lawrence pushes Austin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Austin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Austin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lawrence paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnny Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawrence is looking to clinch but Austin is avoiding it.

Austin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Austin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Austin throws an elbow but it misses.

Lawrence shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Austin pinned against the cage. Austin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Austin passes into half guard.
Austin is just content to waste time from the top position. Lawrence takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Austin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lawrence swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin distracts Lawrence with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lawrence is looking to stand up but Austin isn't so interested in that idea.

Austin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lawrence is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Austin, into his guard.
Lawrence must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Austin wants to sweep but no luck.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lawrence accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lawrence displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Austin.

Austin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lawrence 's guard.

Lawrence changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Austin tries to avoid it but Lawrence manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Austin to the ground. Austin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawrence lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lawrence might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Austin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Austin showed some decent athleticism there.

Austin shoots in looking for a takedown but Lawrence manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Austin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lawrence throws a right hand that Austin ducks under and follows up with a left that Austin also avoids with ease.

Lawrence jumps guard but Austin stands there with Lawrence around his waist. Lawrence gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Austin or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawrence which made him look bad.
Austin walks into a straight right hand from Lawrence .
Lawrence throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lawrence sizes up Austin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lawrence rushes Austin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Austin tries a knee to the head but Lawrence blocks it.

Lawrence gets control of Austin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lawrence will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Johnny Lawrence comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
