PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Mallorca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyr Asgaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mallorca comes to the cage accompanied by I Can Talk. Asgaard is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Dragonborn Comes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallorca has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Asgaard finds it's way round the side to connect with Mallorca's head.
Asgaard circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mallorca pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mallorca throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Asgaard's waist but Asgaard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mallorca off to one side.
Mallorca avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Asgaard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Mallorca is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Asgaard has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mallorca is looking to defend but Asgaard has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mallorca! Asgaard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mallorca taps out and this one is all over!
