Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from McDermot misses.
McDermot just misses with a punch to the body.
McDermot looks to land a left hand but Doherty moved out of range nicely.
McDermot misses with a right hand
and Doherty counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McDermot, as that shot connected.
McDermot drops his hands momentarily and Doherty takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Doherty changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McDermot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McDermot tries to buck Doherty off but Doherty is having none of it.
McDermot is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
McDermot can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doherty wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McDermot, who protects the arm well.
McDermot tries to control but Doherty manages to take his back.
McDermot tries to break free.
McDermot looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doherty throwing sloppy strikes.
McDermot wants to control his opponent's hands but Doherty gets his hands free.
McDermot is trying to roll into a better position but Doherty has get a rear naked choke and McDermot is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!

A less than humble Pete Doherty misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
