The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker checks a leg kick nicely.
Barker throws a right and a left that Cates avoids nicely.
Cates drops Barker with a right and a left! Cates comes rushing in but Barker regains his composure and manages to keep Cates in guard.
Barker is rocked!
Cates gets to his feet and stands over Barker, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Barker felt that one! Cates unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Barker from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colton Cates!
