Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Einar Einarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Hunt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Einarson.
Hunt works the jab nicely.
Hunt throws a big shot that misses.
Einarson fails to land the takedown.
Einarson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hunt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Einarson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Einarson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hunt trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Einarson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hunt is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Einarson trying to control but Hunt is having none of it.
Einarson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Einarson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Einarson looking to ground and pound but Hunt is blocking nicely.
Einarson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Einarson tries to control but Hunt wriggling away.
Hunt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Einarson looking to secure an arm triangle but Hunt defends it well.

Einarson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Einarson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Einarson loads up with a big shot that hurts Hunt! He's pulled Einarson in close but Einarson has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hunt survive? More strikes from Einarson and Hunt is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Einar Einarson!
