The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izquierdo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Izquierdo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petunia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Izquierdo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Izquierdo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Izquierdo postures up.

Petunia working for a triangle but Izquierdo defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Izquierdo stands up over Petunia, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Petunia has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Izquierdo doesn't defend quickly enough and Petunia has managed to lock this one up! Can Izquierdo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Petunia on a fantastic submission victory.
