Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislov Kryuchkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by I drink alone. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kryuchkov's choice of entrance music: Gorky Park - Bang. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stanislov Kryuchkov!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Martin throws a right and a left that both miss.

Martin tries to sprawl but Kryuchkov drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Kryuchkov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kryuchkov.
Martin pushes Kryuchkov off looking to stand but Kryuchkov dives back in and keeps control.
Kryuchkov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kryuchkov is looking for a kimura here.
Kryuchkov is trying to control the action in half guard but Martin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kryuchkov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Martin!

Kryuchkov get's back to his feet.
Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kryuchkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Martin avoids it really well and circles away.
Martin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hank Martin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kryuchkov dives in and scores a takedown into Martin's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kryuchkov won't allow Martin to get back to his feet.

Kryuchkov has gone for a leg lock! Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kryuchkov's guard.

Martin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kryuchkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kryuchkov is tightening it up a little... Martin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Martin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Martin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kryuchkov!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Stanislov Kryuchkov!
A relieved looking Stanislov Kryuchkov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
