Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Colin Hendry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Gimmick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendry comes to the cage accompanied by Seed - By Sublime. Gimmick has chosen Six Feet Under - War Is Coming as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendry lands with a nice body punch.
Hendry walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hendry throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gimmick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hendry stalks Gimmick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gimmick's face. Gimmick staggers backwards, shaken.
Justin Gimmick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hendry uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gimmick has time to react.

Hendry throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gimmick wants to clinch up but Hendry keeps it at a distance.
Gimmick takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hendry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hendry throws a body punch but Gimmick moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colin Hendry dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hendry connects with a crisp jab.
Gimmick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hendry throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Gimmick's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hendry dives in looking to finish as Gimmick flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hendry's strikes! Hendry is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Gimmick's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Gimmick was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
