The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko throws out a loose jab but Yankee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Left hook, right uppercut from Yankee.

Yankee instigates a clinch.

Ko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ko thuds a left hand into Yankee's body.
Yankee tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jim Yankee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Jim Yankee has been cut.
Yankee tries to clinch but Ko moves away
and Ko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Ko counters with a big left hand that crumples Yankee! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
