Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Sandelos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cantrell Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandelos comes to the ring accompanied by We Takin' Over. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cantrell Willis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandelos checks a leg kick.
Willis misses with a low kick.
Sandelos tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Willis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jonathan Sandelos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandelos closes the distance but Willis moves to the side
and Willis counters with a nice kick to the body.
Willis throws a chopping leg kick but Sandelos manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Sandelos wants to clinch up but Willis keeps it at a distance.
Willis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Willis takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Cantrell Willis has been cut.
Sandelos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sandelos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Willis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Willis shoots for a takedown but Sandelos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sandelos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Willis.
Sandelos doesn't manage to clinch there - Willis circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Willis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sandelos. That did some damage!

Willis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sandelos keeps working.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonathan Sandelos will probably get the nod.

Sandelos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Willis, pushing him back against the ropes.

Willis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Sandelos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Willis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sandelos to the mat. Sandelos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Willis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandelos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sandelos has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Willis off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Willis fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sandelos checks it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jonathan Sandelos.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sandelos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
