The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concrete walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Concrete fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Penderas scores with a crisp jab that stopped Concrete in his tracks.
A left and a right from Penderas both land. Nice combination.
Concrete has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penderas finds it's way round the side to connect with Concrete's head.

Penderas is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Concrete had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Concrete instigates a clinch.
Concrete has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Penderas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Concrete is trying to drag Penderas to the mat but Penderas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
