Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaymos Elon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Shamrock's choice of entrance music: The World most Dangerous Man. Klaymos Elon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shamrock showed some decent athleticism there.

Shamrock prevents Elon from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ken Shamrock wasn't active enough on the ground.
Elon shoots in looking for a takedown. Shamrock tries to sprawl out of it but Elon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shamrock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch combination from Shamrock misses.

Elon shoots in but Shamrock avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Shamrock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Elon to the mat! Elon manages to get full guard.

Shamrock decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Shamrock slips a jab and a cross from Elon.
Elon is breathing heavily.

Shamrock dives in and scores a takedown into Elon's guard.

Shamrock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Elon wants to sweep here but Shamrock controlling him for the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shamrock gets to his feet. Elon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Shamrock.
The referee asks Shamrock politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Shamrock prefers to stall for the moment though.
Shamrock works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Shamrock decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Elon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaymos Elon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elon avoids the head kick by Shamrock.
Klaymos Elon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shamrock stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Elon to get to his feet.

Shamrock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Elon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Shamrock drives through and clinches with Elon against the cage.

Shamrock manages to break the clinch.

Shamrock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shamrock manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Shamrock pulls Elon in close to prevent any damage.

Elon has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shamrock to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Elon is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shamrock pulls down on the head and he's put Elon to sleep! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Ken Shamrock started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
