The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton misses the shot to the body.
Thornton ducks under a wild hook from Orton.
Orton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thornton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Orton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thornton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Orton tries to avoid it but Thornton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Orton to the ground. Orton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thornton throws a head kick but Orton moves out of range.
