Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Jaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Belanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jaffer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DubRaider- Starry Eyes. Bruno Belanger will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belanger lands a nice looking body shot.
Belanger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jaffer lands a leg kick that knocks Belanger off balance momentarily.

Jaffer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belanger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jaffer has managed to get both his arms back between Belanger's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that James Jaffer will probably get the nod.

Jaffer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Belanger can't fight it off and eventually Jaffer manages to take the fight to the floor. Belanger looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Belanger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jaffer defends it easily.
