Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Merceli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tvrtko Kotromanic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tvrtko Kotromanic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Kotromanic.
Merceli shoots in for a takedown but Kotromanic shows good takedown defense.
Kotromanic stuffs the takedown.
Merceli takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Merceli fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maximus Merceli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kotromanic slaps away a takedown attempt from Merceli, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Merceli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Merceli is breathing heavily.
Merceli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kotromanic tries to avoid it but Merceli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kotromanic to the ground. Kotromanic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kotromanic plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Maximus Merceli has been cut.
Maximus Merceli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kotromanic throws out a powerful jab.
Kotromanic throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kotromanic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Merceli doesn't seem bothered though.
Kotromanic lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Merceli falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kotromanic dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
