The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Thompson. No joy for Peterson on that attempt.
Thompson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Peterson tries for a takedown but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Peterson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thompson stuffs the takedown.
