Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kees Snoek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sisnik Shala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snoek comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem Lose Yourself. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shala's choice of entrance music: random. Sisnik Shala has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kees Snoek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sisnik Shala!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snoek gets a double leg takedown into Shala's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Shala throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Shala should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Shala is looking for a triangle but Snoek pushes his legs off easily.
Snoek has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shala is proving hard to escape from.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snoek missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Shala has a closed guard, preventing Snoek from standing up.

Shala not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Snoek has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Shala is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Snoek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shala on the ground.

Shala has control of Snoek's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Snoek regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Snoek's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Shala is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Snoek is surviving well by controlling Shala's body position as best he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snoek is just holding on here. Shala manages to take his back.

Snoek tries to escape but Shala has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Snoek wants to get back to his feet.

Shala is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Snoek knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Snoek for a finish.

Snoek rolls, trying to escape but Shala keeps control of the position.
Shala lands shots from the back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shala is hanging on to Snoek's back as he tries to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sisnik Shala dominated that round.
That's time! Snoek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Shala changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snoek tries to avoid it but Shala manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snoek to the ground. Snoek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Snoek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kees Snoek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snoek has closed the distance and engaged Shala in a clinch.
Shala fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kees Snoek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sisnik Shala.
Shala keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Snoek's efforts to push away.
Snoek has had enough of the clinch but Shala keeps him there for the moment.

Shala tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snoek just stands there and leans against the cage.

Snoek has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shala is trying to keep an underhook but Snoek manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Shala has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Snoek is working away from the top position though.
Snoek wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Shala uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Snoek loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Snoek seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Snoek seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shala for as long as he can get away with.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shala has a closed guard, preventing Snoek from standing up.

Shala keeping moving, preventing Snoek from controlling successfully.
Snoek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We're going to have a standup here because Kees Snoek wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Shala slips a jab and a cross from Snoek.
Snoek wants to land a leg kick but Shala is out of range.
Snoek shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snoek postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shala looks a forlorn figure.

Shala sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Sisnik Shala has got the better of the ground game so far.
Snoek has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Shala works to full guard.
Shala looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Snoek is posturing up here but Shala has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Snoek tries to roll out but it's too tight and Snoek has to tap! Slick submission there by Shala!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sisnik Shala!
A less than humble Sisnik Shala misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
