Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mats Ylven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Von Minoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Minoza misses with a right hand
and Ylven counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ylven drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ylven remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Ylven wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minoza keeps working.
Ylven postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ylven wants to take a breather but Minoza manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Ylven.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mats Ylven wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Minoza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ylven.

Ylven moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ylven tries to score a body lock takedown but Minoza shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ylven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ylven avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ylven is rocked!
Ylven tries to clinch but Minoza is having none of it.
Oh Ylven is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ylven tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Minoza swivels and escapes.
Ylven seems to have got his legs back now.
Minoza walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ylven drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Minoza swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ylven's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
