Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serga Magged (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy PickUp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magged looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? PickUp is fending him off so far but Magged persists. Nope, PickUp circles away and we're back to standing.
Magged shoots in for a takedown but PickUp shows good takedown defense.
Magged shoots in and drives through. PickUp sprawls well.

Magged moves into the clinch.
PickUp lands a left hand.
PickUp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Magged has him pressed against the cage.

Magged jumps guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

PickUp drops back, looking for a kneebar! Magged looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Magged looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Magged!
Magged wants to lay and pray for a moment but PickUp keeps working.

Magged tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Magged has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

PickUp is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magged is looking to take a break and control but PickUp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Magged could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Magged seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down PickUp for as long as he can get away with.

Serga Magged has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
PickUp throws a right hand that Magged ducks under and follows up with a left that Magged also avoids with ease.
PickUp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
PickUp tries to close the distance and clinch but Magged swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

PickUp moves in looking to clinch but Magged pushes him off.

Magged shoots in for a takedown but PickUp shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
PickUp misses with an uppercut. Magged saw that one coming.
Magged throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

PickUp is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Magged lands a really nice looking cross but PickUp seems unphased.
PickUp bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Magged's head.
Magged shoots in but PickUp avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boy PickUp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Magged looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
PickUp is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Serga Magged.
A head kick misses from Magged.
PickUp lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
PickUp is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Magged finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Magged takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Magged is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. PickUp defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

It looks like Serga Magged has been cut.
Magged closes this distance looking for a takedown but PickUp circles away.

PickUp misses with a series of wild punches.
Crunch! Magged slams his shin into PickUp's torso.
PickUp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Magged.

Magged content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Magged ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Magged no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

PickUp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A decent looking cross lands there for PickUp.
Magged closes the distance and clinches up with PickUp, looking for a takedown. Magged pushes PickUp against the cage but PickUp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
PickUp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magged manages to avoid it.
Magged fails to land the takedown.
PickUp moves in looking to clinch but Magged pushes him off.
PickUp feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Maggeds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Magged shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has PickUp pinned against the cage. PickUp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
PickUp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

And that's the end of the fight!
Serga Magged showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Magged has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
