Anastasio has chosen Tweezer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anastasio shoots in and bounces Conner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Anastasio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conner wants to sweep but no luck.
Anastasio passes Conner's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Anastasio seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Conner pushes Anastasio off but Anastasio dives into side control.

Anastasio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Conner is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Anastasio yanks on the arm and Conner is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Anastasio.
