Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riku Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Quitoriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quitoriano misses with a takedown attempt - Takahashi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice defenses there by Takahashi.
Quitoriano shoots for a double leg takedown but Takahashi sprawls well. He's pushed Quitoriano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Quitoriano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Quitoriano tries to clinch up.

Quitoriano shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Takahashi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quitoriano on the ground.

Quitoriano tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Quitoriano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Quitoriano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Takahashi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Quitoriano has hold of Takahashi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Takahashi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Quitoriano cranks the arm and Takahashi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Takahashi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
