The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lil I shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lil I showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lil I seems to be looking for submissions.
Mann looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lil I controlling the action here.
Mann kicks off Lil I and gets to his feet.
Lil I closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lil I lands in his opponent's guard.

Lil I cracks Mann with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Mann from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
