Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Rudov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steel lands in his opponent's guard.
Rudov trying to keep a closed guard but Steel is proving a slippery customer.
Steel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Steel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Steel is looking to work some ground and pound but Rudov has wrist control.
Rudov wants to sweep but no luck.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Steel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rudov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steel has managed to get both his arms back between Rudov's legs - danger averted.

Rudov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Steel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rudov has tightened it up now! Steel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
