Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Jakort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No More Heroes: Kill or Be Killed Mix. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ralph Jakort!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Langley has closed the distance and engaged Jakort in a clinch.
Langley tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jakort drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Langley using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jakort has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jakort takes a shot to the head.
Langley landing knees to the head.
Langley blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Langley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jakort is trying to keep an underhook but Langley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Langley connects with a nice short shot to Jakort's temple.

Jakort looking for submissions off his back.
Langley moves into full mount! Jakort won't be happy about that!

Langley looking for a guillotine from mount but Jakort is having none of it.

Langley is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jakort wants to control but Langley is having none of it.
Jakort is trying desperately to improve position.
Langley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jakort sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Langley wants to pass the guard but Jakort is defending well.
Jakort flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Langley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jakort is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Langley pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jakort looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Langley lands a nice short elbow.
Jakort is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Langley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Langley's back!
Langley wants to escape the position.

Jakort is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Langley has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jakort has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Langley taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jakort doesn't care though - he's delighted!
