Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karl Istaz!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Istaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Istaz wants to clinch up but Lombard keeps it at a distance.
Istaz moves into the clinch.
Lombard misses with a punch on the inside.

Istaz misses with a knee to the head.
Istaz landing knees to the body.
Istaz lands an elbow that stopped Lombard in his tracks for a moment.
Lombard is trying to pull guard but Istaz turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lombard jumps guard but Istaz stands there with Lombard around his waist. Lombard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lombard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Istaz is concentrating on defense, preventing Lombard from advancing position.

Lombard has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Istaz defend it? Lombard steps over the head and cranks it - Istaz is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lombard!

A relieved looking Gektor Lombard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
