And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jari comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jari really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jari throws a nice looking combination but Machado bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jari throws a series of punches but Machado moves out of range.
Jari jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sloppy strikes from Machado. Those never looked like landing.

Machado takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Machado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jari to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jari lands a nice hook to Machado's body. Machado takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jari throws a chopping leg kick but Machado manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Jari lands with a hook. Machado tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Machado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jari.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jari feints a jab promting Machado to slip. Jari then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Machado slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jari throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Machado colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Jari as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Machado is left battered and dazed whilst Jari and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). hei Jari!
hei Jari retains his light heavyweight title!
hei Jari decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
