Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha has chosen The Final Countdown as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Braun or perhaps it was just good defense by Rocha which made him look bad.
Braun darts in and clinches Rocha up against the cage.
Rocha is pressed up against the cage. Braun has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocha down to the mat. Rocha avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Braun feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rocha stalks Braun and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Braun's face. Braun staggers backwards, shaken.

Rocha wanted to stand there but Braun had control of the position.

Braun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Braun thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like Ryan Braun has been cut.

Braun wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rocha keeps working.
Braun is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rocha knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Braun cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Braun takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Braun will probably get the nod.
