The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silli looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Silli is looking to clinch.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silli paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Johnson looks to land a strike but Silli avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Silli has wrist control.

Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Silli slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.
Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silli manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Johnson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Johnson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Silli reverses the position - he's now on top in Johnson's guard.

Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silli throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Johnson's body to avoid the submission. Johnson has instead reached around Silli's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Johnson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
