Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bones Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Arkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Gimme back my bullets. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Arkley was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Arkley tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jones with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jones can't find room to land a body shot as Arkley controls the action.
Arkley lands with a left to the head.
Jones misses with a knee to the head.
Jones tightens his grip and picks Arkley up, before dumping him to the ground. Arkley manages to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Arkley looking for a sweep. Not yet Arkley, not yet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arkley is on top in guard.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Arkley manages to pass to side control.
Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Arkley is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arkley checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Arkley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Arkley tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Arkley gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Arkley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Arkley avoids the body shot from Jones.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Arkley moves out of range easily.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arkley closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.
Jones misses with a hook from the clinch.
Arkley struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.

Arkley can't find room to land a body shot as Jones controls the action.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

It looks like Bones Jones has been cut.

Jones is trying to break free.
Arkley pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arkley crunches a lovely knee into Jones's ribcage.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Arkley lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Arkley lands a left hand.

Jones is rocked!
Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.

Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Arkley lands a left hand.
Arkley lands a knee to the body.
Arkley lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jones to his knees! Arkley keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
