Williams is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight Music by D12. Rich Worker has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Williams!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Williams.

Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Worker tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.

It looks like Rich Worker has been cut.
Williams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Worker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Worker doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Worker moves out of range easily.

Worker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Williams is trying to stand back up but Worker is controlling him

Williams is trying to stand back up but Worker is controlling him

Worker has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Williams!
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Worker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Worker is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Worker gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Worker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.

Worker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Worker stands up and beckons Williams to join him on the feet.
Williams throws a chopping leg kick but Worker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Worker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Still in half guard, Worker seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Worker seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Williams for as long as he can get away with.

Worker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.

Williams goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Worker shoots in and bounces Williams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Worker won't allow Williams to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rich Worker.
Williams throws a looping overhand right but Worker ducks down to avoid it.
Dexter Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Worker scores with a hook to the body. Williams takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Williams is in trouble now - Worker has advanced to mount!

Worker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Worker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Worker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Williams to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Williams shrugs it off.
Worker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Worker scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Worker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Worker is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Williams is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Worker breaks from Williams's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Williams is rocked!
Worker drops a big elbow. That's hurt Williams! More shots from Worker and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
